Beni started singing in 2000 with The El Shadai Romanian Christian Band in Seattle. He originally was the band's bass player, when the band wa
s created in1992 inTexas.
In 1992 El Shadai Band consisted of: Costel & Tia M., Mike M., Marius Roman and Beni M.. The band has influenced and encouraged Beni in continuing to sing for God.
- El Shadai's first album release was in 2002 titled, "Am Fost Orfan”.
- Beni started composing songs at the age of 15. His first song was "Tinarule". The second song Beni composed at the age of 16 "Am Fost Orfan" was ispired by the death of his Father, Dumitru M. Sr. Beni lost his father in a car accident when he was 8 years old . To date Beni has composed over 30 songs.
- In 2001 Beni joined the Portland Philadelphia Romanian Church Choir where he met and befriended Dan Salar, Beni and Radu Tarcau who sang in an all men band. Beni joined the band in 2001 and traveled with them to Florida, Idaho and Washington. The band has influenced and made an everlasting impact in Beni's life. The Band consisted of: Ben Tarcau, Radu Tarcau, Dan Salar, Beni M., John Tarcau, Eugene Dehelean, Marcel Urs, and Teo Micu.

- Beni & Dana met in September 2001 at the Romanian Christian Convention in Detroit, MI. Shortly thereafter they start singing
together and have been inseparable ever since.
- Three months after their marriage in 2002 Dana & Beni hit the road. To date they have been to California, Canada, Idaho, Washington, Chicago, Atlanta, Tennessee, Michigan and Florida.
- Beni & Dana’s first album release together was in 2003 titled "Iti Multumesc"
- Beni & Dana’s latest album release was in July 2007 titled “Eu Te Voi Sluji”
